KVC Westerlo is already fully engaged in preparations for the upcoming season. In the near future, it will likely strengthen itself with Issiaka Kamate, according to Nicolo Schira. Kamate is currently still under contract with Inter. It's not the first time Kamate has been linked with a move to the Jupiler Pro League. Anderlecht wanted to hire the winger from Inter in 2024, but ultimately the Frenchman chose a temporary move to Portuguese AVS, as he had more confidence in playing minutes. Two years later, the Frenchman appears to be making the move to the Jupiler Pro League after all. According to Nicolo Schira, KVC Westerlo is close to a deal with Inter. It's a loan transfer in which the player can also be taken over definitively. Kamate will be loaned for one season and can then sign a three-year contract with Westerlo. Kamate has been playing for a long time in the youth teams of Inter and was loaned to AVS (Portugal) and Modena (Italy, Serie B) in between. Last season, Kamate played for Inter U23, which competes in Serie C. Kamate was a regular presence and played 33 games. He also played once for Inter's first team this season. In the cup match against Torino, he played 80 minutes and provided one assist.
