Westerlo wins 0-1 against Charleroi thanks to a late goal from Arthur Piedfort. The Kemphanen remain in the running for European football. Charleroi was on a strong streak of 10 out of 12, but Westerlo had the key in their hands after a good counter. Piedfort worked the counter out perfectly and scored the winning goal. Westerlo coach Isamme Charaï was impressed by the winning goal. "That counter was fantastic", he is quoted by Sporza. "That was at the ideal moment, with the right infiltration of Piedfort and a beautiful goal." Westerlo is now in two finals, as Charaï actually mentions. They receive Standard and then Antwerp. Westerlo beat the Rouches already on the second matchday and have a score to settle after the 2-4 defeat on their own field. That promises for the last two matchdays. Two more finals.
